Liturgical Music Program
The Music Ministry is committed to facilitating worship, fellowship, encouragement and outreach through a balanced program of music that includes expressions ancient and modern, eloquent and simple, familiar and new. We strive to prepare gatherings for worship that are Christ-exalting, transformational, and display the unity of the Spirit.
The Parish Choir
The Parish Choir is open to all volunteers of various skill levels and musical backgrounds. The choir enjoys being together in fellowship and take seriously its mission to prepare music that serves the church and honors the Lord.
The choir sings for most Sunday morning services as well as the Christmas Midnight Mass, Easter Vigil and one mass on Easter Sunday. They are also featured in two musical events throughout the year: The Holiday and Spring Concerts.
The choir rehearses one or two days a week from 7:30 - 9:00 P.M. Days TBD by your availability.
The choir season begins on the First Tuesday after Labor Day and continues until around Early to Mid June.
The Music Ministry is open to all parishioners who desire to dedicate themselves to the growth of the Immaculate Conception Parish through enhancement of worship, pastoral events, and spiritual fellowship enrichment experiences.
There are opportunities for some singers to serve as leaders of prayer and song during our liturgies. In addition to singing, cantors are encouraged to grow in spiritual and liturgical qualities and musical knowledge to become even more effective leaders of song and prayer in our parish.
Currently our church is in need of people to volunteer in leading our congregation in song.
While preferred, you do not need to know how to sing or play an instrument to be a member of the Music Ministry.
For more information please contact Thomas John (T.J.) Marden at or call (201) 661-1658 if interested in working within our parish's music ministry.
