Woman Praying Silently
Mass Attendance

Catholics are obliged by the Church's first precept to attend Mass on Sundays and holy days of obligation, as this participation honors the Lord's Resurrection and nourishes our faith.  Willful absence without a serious reason, such as illness, constitutes a grave sin, so we are encouraged to join our parish community weekly in this essential act of worship.

Confession

Saturday

4:00 PM — 5:00 PM

For confession by appointment, please schedule a time with the Parish Office.

Confessions are held in the Oasis of Mercy on the left side of the church near the double doors.

Please be sure that the red light is off before entering.

For confession by appointment, please schedule a time with the Parish Office.

Community Worship

Prayer is not meant to be solitary: when the parish gathers to pray, Christ is truly present “where two or three meet” in his name, and common prayer strengthens the unity of the Church.

We invite everyone to come to our regular times of prayer- Eucharistic Adoration, the Rosary, and the Divine Mercy Chaplet and spend time with the Lord in faith, offering silent prayer and thanksgiving as part of the Church’s living rhythm of worship.

Mass Intentions

Mass intentions are requests that a priest offer the Holy Sacrifice of the Mass for a specific intention, which may be accompanied by an offering (stipend).

The offering is a free-will gift that helps the faithful unite themselves more closely to the Eucharistic Sacrifice and supports the needs of the Church, not a “price” for something sacred.

Requesting Mass Intentions

To request a mass intention, please contact the Parish Office and we can assist you in scheduling a date.

Christian Burial & Funeral Rites

The support of our parishioners is essential to continuing our work of spreading Christ's message. If you are financially able, we ask that you please continue to support Immaculate Conception Church with your contributions.

Thank you for your generosity, and please be assured of our prayers for you and your families.

The Christian funeral is a liturgical celebration of the Church. The ministry of the Church in this instance aims at expressing efficacious communion with the deceased, at the participation in that communion of the community gathered for the funeral, and at the proclamation of eternal life to the community.  CCC 1684

The Church grants ecclesiastical funerals to deceased members of the faithful, seeking to provide spiritual support, honor the body, and bring solace of hope to those who remain.

In general, a funeral is celebrated in the person’s parish church (with the possibility of another church by appropriate permission).

Requesting Funeral Services

For assistance in obtaining and preparing for funeral services with Immaculate Conception Church, see our Funeral Rites guide.
